MATCHMAKING
- Curved all player's elo to separate into the higher tiers (top players should be near purple and bottom players will be in tier 1)
- Add system to punish players who dodge games constantly. Dodging too many times in a short time will result in a 30-minute queue ban
- Temporarily remove auto balancing on team. This is to test if the feature actually balances games or makes it worse.
- [NEW] Change the "bot" 1v1 mode to 2v2, as widely requested. PLEASE NOTE: There is a known issue that the mini map shows the main map and not the practice map. This is hard coded into the client and its removal would have delayed this patch.
- Add "derank protection" which prevents you from deranking from one massive loss. This will make it harder to derank from tiers.
- Add elo probability skew if you have a player disconnect on your team--meaning that for the elo calculation at the end of the game, players with less players will actually be considered disadvantaged.
- Add alt account tracking. Players are only permitted to use one alt account, any additional accounts may result in reset elo and progress as well as a potential ban
BALANCE UPDATES
General Changes
- Increased catch-up xp from 1 xp per level gap to 2 xp per level gap.
- Added "per level" stats onto characters at level 1. Essentially increasing everyone's base stats at level 1 based on their character's scaling.
- Removed AI players
Billy
- Reduced AP scaling on Q from 70% to 55%
- Reduced movement speed buff from empowered W from 0.8 to 0.5 (which was the original value in ATBP)
- Increased W cooldown at level 10 by 2 seconds (this was just missed from last patch)
BMO
- Decreased damage falloff from 30% per hit to 15% per hit.
- Increased AP ratio on W from 20% to 40%
Cinnamon Bun
- All abilities now only do 50% damage to towers
- W cooldown increased by 2 seconds from 15s (12s at lvl 10) to 17s (14s at lvl 10)
- W damage ratio decreased from 40% to 30%
- Health scaling decreased from 50 per level to 25
- Decreased speed from 2.8 to 2.7
- [NOTE] CB's ult was not impacted in this patch because the belief is that his tankiness and movement is likely the cause of his strength rather than the ult. We will monitor as the games go on. #dontstandinthecircle
Finn
- Decreased armor gained from Q from 25% to 15%
- Increased W cooldown from 9 seconds (7s at lvl 10) to 12 seconds (10s at lvl 10)
- Reduced health scaling from 50 per level to 25
Fionna
- Removed ult cast delay
- Increased speed from 2.65 to 2.8
Flame Princess
- Decreased attack range by 0.1
Gunter
- Decreased crit damage from 250% to 225%
Hunson
- Hunson's passive now procs even when the champion dies
- Reduced Q idle time (time you can wait between firing Qs before it goes on cooldown) from 6 seconds to 4.5 seconds
- Added a 5-second cooldown on Hunson's passive
- Reduced passive duration from 5 seconds to 3.5 seconds
Ice King
- Ice Shield (passive) now reduces the damage from the first hit taken by 50%
Jake
- Passive now roots for one second instead of applying a slow
The Lich
- Decreased Skully's attack rate from 1s (1000) to 1.25s (1250)
Magic Man
- Ult damage is now a flat 35% HP scaling and does not gain any additional damage based on AP
- Reduced ult damage on large monster by 50%
- Increased AP ratio on W from 50% to 70%
Marceline
- Increased HP scaling from 35 per level to 50
Princess Bubblegum
- Enemies hit by all 3 passive stacks will also be slowed by 25% for 2.5 seconds
Rattleballs
- Ult now destroys enemy skill shots (excluding ultimates) while active
BUG FIXES
- Fixed issue where two players could choose the same character in champ select
- Fixed issue where dead players were receiving boss buffs while dead
- Fixed issue where Marcy would not gain CC immunity when transforming into Vampire form
- Fixed issue where the Gumball Guardian was not destroying NEPTR's W
